Woman theologian from Bavaria stresses the importance of humor in religion

   Female Catholic theologian from Augsburg Katarina Hemynh, having a lecture in Salzburg Austria dealt with the relationship between religion and humor, pointed out that "traditionally humor and smiling are highly appreciated in most religions”.
    Having analyzed several examples of humor in the Bible Katarina Hemynh said that Christianity never opposed to people laughing and happy life. Joy, laughing, humor – are the indivisible things of full Christian life. Faith in God and service to Jesus Christ are full of delight, they bring pleasure and give unforgettable enjoyment of life to people. This very pleasure is associated with a laugh and a smile.
    Theologian said that today humor succeeds in the religious sphere and is a necessary thing to contribute to the development of human potential. Humor never criticizes openly, but in a delicate manner points out certain mistakes.
